![]() Feels fine under the fingers, operates as it should. So I hard-soldered on an Armstrong touch which fits pretty IS nickel however. The side Bb touch was missing barrel and lever were there, just no touch. New domed metal reso pads, except two or three which are plastic reso because I was out of the sized for those keys. Holes leveled, keys swedged, rods trued, keywork lubed and regulated. The neck receiver was missing one of the thumbscrew holes, so we replaced it with a new, generic receiver that fits the neck well. A few resolders here and there, previously done we cleaned them up a bit to make them look better as they were structurally sound and their placement was right, decided not to redo them. There are still small dings here and there. ![]() ![]() We have done some moderate dent repair & gotten everything back into good geometry as far as body goes. Original lacq around 60%, fair amount of spotting and several bare patches. A '65 Collegiate model 577, completely overhauled.
